Exhibition with Launch of Fashion Collaboration
In the spirit of gathering eclectic influences, and introducing into men’s fashion what hadn’t been there before, title of work routinely pursues exciting collaborations. Title of work collaborated with NYC street photographer Meryl Meisler, licensing 5 of her images for limited edition creations of 50 per style scarves, neckties, bow ties and pocket squares for their Fall 2019 collection.
Meryl Meisler’s iconic contribution to NYC street photography began in the early 1970’s, after graduating from Wisconsin and returning home to a New York City on the verge of bankruptcy. Nevertheless this disjointment, she commented in a recent NYT article, made her feel as though she belonged, having recently come out as a lesbian. By faithfully documenting NYC’s grit and complexity with unusual tenderness for more than forty years, Meryl Meisler claims her place beside contemporary masters Diane Arbus and Jacques Henri Lartique.
